Rev. Marty Bacher is moving into his 20th year of ministry. He has served as the Senior Minister of Centers for Spiritual Living in Texas, Oklahoma and now Idaho. He is currently guiding the creation of a new Center for Spiritual Living in Boise. In 2006, he served the Salt Lake Center as its consulting minister and did a brilliant job. He helped pave the way for a smooth transition when we hired Rev. Elizabeth and assisted in creating the conditions for the dynamic growth that Rev. O’Day and the community co-created. Rev. Marty has served on the International Board of Trustees of United Centers of Spiritual Living. He has held numerous positions in the Religious Science youth movement, including co-chair of the International Youth and Family Ministries Team. In addition, he is the co-founder of Youth-at-Choice, a program designed to empower teens to make positive and life affirming choices.

Rev. Marty has a strong background in organizational growth and development. He has served the United Centers for Spiritual Living as the Minister Mentor Coordinator, developing and implementing a mentor program for new and affiliating ministers. He has traveled across the country to work with New Thought Centers and organizations to develop strategic plans based on spiritual principles.

Rev. Marty lives in Sun Valley, Idaho with his partner of 10 years and a dog, a cat and two horses.
